Where registration happens
Company registration in Qatar is handled by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), largely through its online Single Window platform, which connects the steps and related government entities.
Step by step
- Create an account and select the legal form.
- Choose activities from the ministry’s activity list.
- Reserve the trade name.
- Submit shareholder and manager details and capital.
- Complete and notarise the articles of association.
- Pay fees and receive the commercial registration.
After the CR
Registration is not the finish line. The company still needs approved premises and a trade license, tax registration, an establishment card, a bank account and work permits before it can fully operate.

- Choose activities that match what you will actually do.
- Prepare attested and translated foreign documents early.
- Keep names, passport details and addresses identical across every document.
